JULY Favourites…

Here’s some of the things I’ve picked up and loving this month.

1.Senso Boots img_6464

Every year I invest in a pair of black ankle boots because they are so versatile and go a long way. I’ve always wanted a pair of Senso boots as they have a great range (check it out here) and I was lucky enough to get these bad boys as a gift this month (thanks babe).

2. ‘Your Baby Care Bible’ book by Dr A.J.R. Waterston

Having a baby is the best feeling in the whole world – I don’t think anything can ever surpass the emotions that come with it. But, it can be overwhelming and being a first time parent you can sometimes doubt yourself and even feel vulnerable at times. Although, I don’t believe in raising my child by a book this has been a great resource to fall back on when I needed to check what the standard/norm is – i.e. like how to change a diaper, how to sterilise bottles, newborns’ routines, etc. It has been written by a team of experts in paediatrics and has heaps in it from A-Z covering ages 0-3.

3. ‘Better Than Sex’ Mascara

img_6502This is my second time buying this mascara because it’s pretty damn good! Gives you length, volume and depth – what else could you want.

4. Mario Badescu ‘Collagen Moisturiser’

If there’s one thing you need to learn about me it’s that I’m always trying out new skincare products because I love to see what’s out there and how it goes with my skin. This moisturiser was no exception. I have been using it for a fortnight so far and really liking it. (Product review to follow once I finish using it).

5. Seed Heritage Waffle Knit Beanie

img_6539I recently did the ‘mum chop’ and got rid of half of my hair (literally)! This super cute beanie has really complemented my haircut and is perfect in this cold winter weather.

6. C Lab & Co Coffee Body Scrub

I was given this product by a great friend to try out and review and have only used it twice so far and I’m already loving it. I’m a sucker for anything coffee so that was a great start. It left my skin feeling super soft and smelt yummy. It also claims to help with stretch marks and cellulite so I’m pretty excited to see what happens with continual use (I will review this product in a later post so keep an eye out).

7. Pure Baby Bunny Toy & Bardot Junior Outfit

img_6581I’m always buying things for my baby girl because I literally can’t stop myself but these are my favourite pics this month. I love the toy because it’s small and when she’s a little older she can carry it everywhere with her. It also has bells in it so when she shakes it, it makes noise to entertain her. We’ve named her ‘zilli’ which in Turkish means ‘with bells.’I also fell in love with this top as soon as I saw it and they had the matching headband so it was a perfect combo!

8. Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel

Yes, skincare again!img_6255 I bough a 5-day treatment to check it out and seriously have loved the way my skin looked and felt afterwards and would probably invest in it again although it’s quite pricey. Check out my complete product review here.

I hope you enjoyed my July favourites. Please feel free to comment or ask any questions about any particular product.

Lots of love,

                                             Betul.
