C Lab & Co Coffee Scrub

Hi guys,
I mentioned this product in my July favourites and promised I would do a complete review on it so here it is. I have been using it consistently for about 2 months now so I can give you a proper review and perspective.

Pros:

✔️Priced reasonably
✔️Significantly makes your skin feel super soft as it contains natural oils
✔️Claims to target cellulite, stretch marks and skin imperfections
✔️Gentle on the skin. Although it functions as an exfoliator it doesn’t feel rough
✔️Smells amazing – if you love coffee nearly as much as I do you would love the scent of this product. It wakes up all your senses as soon as you open it (great for morning showers). It also comes in a coffee + coconut option which is equally as amazing
✔️Great size. Also available in travel packs. Ive been using this for 2 months and have only gone through a third of the jar
✔️100% natural, Australian made and a small ingredient list (if you’ve read my other reviews you know that minimal ingredients is a great thing). These include ‘Just Cracked’ roasted and ground coffee and oils
✔️Great packaging

Cons:

✖️Makes a bit of a mess in the shower
✖️Not stocked everywhere – I know Priceline stocks but not sure where else has it

Would I re-purchase?

Definitely. I was lucky to be given this product by a friend and honestly didn’t really need a scrub at the time. Initially, the coffee scent got me and I was more than happy to use and try it. I was quite amazed at how soft it left my skin and therefore continued to use it every time I showered. So, if you adore coffee and are looking for an affordable scrub that leaves your skin as soft as a babies bum this is a great choice. I must mention that it claims to target skin imperfections including cellulite and stretch marks which is a great bonus. However, I am yet see significant results in this department – I will keep you updated.

How to use:

  1. Best to scrub in the shower when skin is damp however turn the water off before you begin or step aside where the water isn’t running.
  2. Take a few handfuls and scrub in circular motions into your skin concentrating on problem areas.
  3. Let your skin absorb the oils for a few minutes before rinsing off.
  4. Repeat twice a week or when necessary. Patch test before use.
