Hi beautiful people,
I can’t believe another month has come and gone and it’s time to share my current favourites with you all. We’ve recently moved into our new place (finally) so this month’s favourites is mostly about homewares and decor (love, love, love).
Wheel & Barrow Vase
I love a beautiful floral arrangement so I couldn’t go pass this vase when I saw it. It’s perfect for my round dining table and its sleek design matches with my contemporary interior. I’ve got some fresh flowers in it at the moment which brings life and a nice aroma to the room.
Chanel Collectors Book
The perfect book for any coffee table. I’ve had my eye on this book for a while as Chanel is my all time favourite fashion designer/label. Thankfully I was lucky enough to get it as a gift from a lovely friend after we moved in. Similar books like these teamed with some nice flowers or candles make a great accent on any coffee table.
Gold touches in the bathroom – why not! I am currently loving anything gold so I mixed and matched this arrangement from different stores including Zara Home, Bed Bath & Table & Freedom – doesn’t it look pretty?
Mercer & Reid Turkish Towels
I may have been a little biased when buying these towels as I am Turkish and these are made in Turkey. However, I must say they turned out beautiful – besides looking absolutely gorgeous, they actually feel amazing on the skin and wash easily so I am so glad I bought them (exclusive to Bed Bath & Table in Australia).
My new water bottle
I love glass water bottles as I feel as though they are more hygienic and also look so much better than plastic. I had been using the VOSS glass bottle for a while until I saw this at Freedom recently..like most of my other favourites this month it also has a touch of gold in it. Also, I couldn’t say no when I saw that 100% of the purchase price goes towards the Children’s Cancer Institute Charity. I cant think of a greater cause than to help fund research into childhood cancer.
A bit of a detour from decor and homewares but I can’t go without mentioning this one because I have been getting such good use out of it this month. Again I was gifted this scarf by a lovely friend during my pregnancy (such a thoughtful and useful gift). It basically looks like a nice, regular black scarf/shawl but has an insert in it where you pop over your head and wa-la..you can breastfeed anywhere! It covers the upper body perfectly and therefore you don’t need to stress about being exposed or finding the nearest baby-change room. Thanks Dee =)
(p.s. don’t mind my sportswear on my bottom half – I’m guilty of living in gym gear ever since I’ve had a baby because it’s just so much easier!)
