My eyebrow feathering/microblading experience – Part 1

Hi guys,

Thank you for popping by my page. Today I want to tell you all about my eyebrow feathering (also known as microblading) experience. After so many years of wanting to get them done I finally did it – waking up with beautifully defined brows is an amazing feeling (#iwokeuplikethis). Jokes aside, one thing I wasn’t blessed with is naturally defined, full brows – I get it from my mama! We both have very sparse brows, with lots of gaps and very fine hairs. Therefore, I was constantly finding myself shaping and filling them in..and let me tell you brows definitely define the face! Whether you’ve got a full face of makeup on, or not wearing any makeup at all brows are the deal breaker..they complete the look. I think my mum actually gave me the courage to finally get them done after she had her brows microbladed when we went overseas recently. I then realised how much of a difference it actually makes. I’m so pleased to say that I no longer need to touch my brows and I can get ready within 5-10 minutes..you don’t understand what this means unless your a mum and always fighting against time because you have 31248247 things to do. The sooner I can get on with my day and attend to my baby the better..so if you want to know all about my experience read on..

My top 3 base products for a light-coverage.

Hey all…

Base is everything! That is all. If you’ve been following me for a while you would already know that I am big on ‘the foundation’..and when I say foundation I mean what’s beneath the makeup – YOUR SKIN! No matter how good a product is, it will only look as good as your skin does. So taking care of your skin will give you a beautiful canvas to work on and allow you to layer your beauty products. This is probably why I choose not to wear foundation on a daily basis. I don’t mind going for a light coverage on most days and exposing my skin. So whether you’re like me, and you don’t like a heavy look, or you just want to go lighter on some days, keep reading. Today, I will share my current 3 favourites for a beautiful light coverage.

So today I will share with you my top 5 picks that I never travel without. If you want to keep your skin in tip-top condition on the flight and avoid looking fatigued when you arrive at your destination (even if you haven’t slept much) keep reading…
